The Joie Roomie Glide
The Joie Roomie Glide crib is an ideal bedside crib that allows parents to stay with their baby while ensuring that they are sleeping safely. The smooth glide motion helps to lull your baby back to sleep, and its ingenuous features let you monitor your baby without leaving your bed.
The cot's side panel sliding can be raised and lowered with the touch of a button, making it easy to reach in and soothe a crying baby in the night. It has 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit nearly any mattress size, and adjustable folding feet that ensure it is at the right level.
In terms of safety the cot is cushioned and comes with mesh sides for better airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam to provide extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned so you can keep it clean, and it comes with a fitted sheet that is suitable for the cot.
The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with all beds including divans. This is thanks to the clips and straps that attach it. It can also be used as a standalone crib when it is not connected to the bed. It comes with a variety of incredible features that were designed with parent and baby bonding in mind.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is great for infants, it will not last long once your child is six months old, which means you will need to invest in an additional cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent purchase. She was impressed by its sleek design.
John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a fair price for a cot. She liked the way it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its grey color would fit the majority of modern homes. However, she did point out that it's not a great idea to rock a smaller baby as it could set a bad habit for later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to give you the best sleep possible. It has a drop-side rail which can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to wake your child or get them out of bed It's perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and when traveling.
We love that it's constructed of soft fabrics with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and comfort. It is available in charcoal or oak with various melange fabrics that blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it to be solid and secure when it was attached to her bed, with the legs securely snapping into place and the zips secure for baby-safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number in case you experience any issues.
Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside that include the ability to attach to your bed using a stay-in place connection system and six height levels The CoZee also comes with an additional incline option that can be used to help aid congestion or reflux in infants. It's also machine-washable, which is a necessity with all the dribble and vomit that comes with having a new baby!
The CoZee is an excellent choice to keep your child close during their first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. It can be turned into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. It will not feed your baby or magically put them to sleep it will rock them until they go off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco’s more expensive options. However, it comes with numerous great features. It's designed to be used as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel and is easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings as well as retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised at the touch of one button. This was a huge help in feedings at night because it meant they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by it's own, however this is not recommended, since it increases the likelihood that your child will fall out of the cot. The patented safety locking system ensures that the side panel will remain in place if it's connected correctly to the parent's mattress. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace of mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent feedings at night.
Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It features a tilting feature for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to soothe them to sleep after a feeding. It's also very spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does have quite a long instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers, however it's quite mobile and can be moved from room to room easily. It can also be folded into a bag for travel which is a great option when you need to transport it. The only negative our test subjects found was that the side panel did not move as much as other models. This made it a little harder to observe your baby from the bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice for a crib that grows with your child. It's designed to be a sleep-co-sleeping bassinet that will attach securely to your bed, but can also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready. It's perfect for night-time feeds and growing your bond with your newborn.
In contrast to other cribs for bed The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress maximize airflow and keep your baby comfortable and cool. The gentle incline helps alleviate colic and reflux. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby, or even comfort them during the night.
The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to start. It took us around an hour to assemble and was reasonably straightforward. The only issue with the instructions was that certain pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow. Overall, it was a simple procedure and the quality of the materials used was excellent.
In bedside cot newborn -sleeping mode, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an ideal choice for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section, as it allows them to easily reach out to their baby for feeding and comfort without having to climb out of their bed. It's ideal for parents who don't want the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.
In our tests we observed the gliding motion of this next to me crib to be extremely beneficial in lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our exhausted test moms. The Joie Roomie Glide is a sleek and functional crib that isn't rocking, or have extra features such as an audio system.
